Oh gosh, even though this looks kind of simple, it pretty much took me forever to line it and colour it because parallel lines and technology and guns and SHINY and wtf is that stuff.. HARD.. Q____Q Stupid Miss Candy being a futuristic and tech-loving type of character. This is why I don't make many techy characters! lol I procrastinated so long on getting this done just because I didn't want to deal with multiple light sources due to all the glowing bits... but then I just said "screw it" and did what I did best: wing it.

She sports a few design choices that I usually don't care for: pronounced and individualized boob plates, high-heel lobster mecha boots, clashy colours, somewhat fanservicey body twist pose showing butt and boobs.. >__> But uhm.. supposedly this is what she likes, so okay. lol Do whatever it is that you do, Cherry!

She hasn't changed too much over the course of 5 years, although she did undergo some synthetic surgery and suit upgrades! Her body became more durable as a result, although little things like the freckles on her face were smoothed out in the process--and apparently she deepened her skin tone too lol. Her cyborg suit makes her look like a dragonfly to me. I also kine of like the black arrow treads on her.. reminds me of speed boost things in racing games. XD She is likE a shiny sports car that way? Hahaha.. When not in her cyborg suit, her armor visor thing shifts back and flips up into a headband. She's also got a trolling (and Escher-girl-esque) haters gonna hate strut going on in her civvies. xD

Miss Candy as a character, Cherry Candi, was originally inspired by Brave New World's Lenina Crowne, who left the distinct impression of a green viscose belt in my mind (hence all of Cherry's green). Lenina is pretty much a piece of sexual meat in the book, and for some reason I remember picturing her with blond hair and purple eyes and a very dull mind but pleasantly docile personality. Uh.. somehow out of that inspiration I made the very aggressively individualistic and ambitious Cherry Candi who likes to shoot things and indulge in life's pleasures.. and comes kinda close to the "STRONG FEMALE CHARACTERS" parody... hahah~
