The Black Seiren

Although not originally for the specifically, the info is basically right for all purposes! Also, some people in the past have doubted Seiren's obvious attractiveness. WHO CAN DOUBT THE ATTRACTIVENESS OF A MERMAID-MAN!? Not I! His true form is a giant fish. He just turns merman to you know.. seduce sailors or something. xD

I've been thinking lately.. how I don't really make many PRETTY pretty boys.. the ones that are beautiful and could be mistaken for a girl and such. So I made this guy, but he still looks a lot like a guy, doesn't he? xD

He's a mermaid-man! Actually, he's a type of shape-shifting ocean spirit that is usually in the form of a black fish with colourful fins. He doesn't have a personal name, but his species are called "Black Seiren", so for simplicity's sake, we'll just call him Seiren. Most people consider black seiren unlucky, as they can stir up the ocean waves to create devastating storms or mess with people's minds, since their form of communication is telepathic. They usually stay deep below the ocean depths, but once in a while, they shift into other forms to lure other sentient creatures in and turn them into white seiren (it's a form of repopulation of the ocean spirits--however, white seiren don't have the ability to transform others into seiren).

As you may notice, the species name "seiren" is similar to the mythological "Sirens", but instead of singing ladies leading mariners into doom, seiren can take many forms to seduce creatures to becoming an ocean spirit.
